'All Ages, One Â鶹ֱ²¥' photo competition

To celebrate Age Without Limits Day on 10 June, the Age Appreciation Staff Network invites staff to take part in the 'All Ages, One Â鶹ֱ²¥' photo competition.

The Age Appreciation Staff Network was founded to raise awareness of ageism and age-related challenges experienced by staff at any stage of life. Age Without Limits Day is a national event which highlights age-related stereotyping and encourages us to think differently about ageing.

Submit a photo inspired by one of five themes:

  • 'Working Across Generations' (sharing skills and experiences across ages)
  • 'I Don’t Feel My Age Because…' (activities or passions that keep you energised)
  • 'All Ages, One Â鶹ֱ²¥' (community and belonging across generations)
  • 'Learning at Any Age' (lifelong learning and new experiences)
  • 'What Keeps You Going' (sources of motivation, resilience, and purpose)

Winning entries will receive a prize (first prize £50 voucher, runner-up £25), and selected photographs will be showcased across the University. Please submit your entry by 5pm on Monday 1 June to the Chair of the Age Appreciation Staff Network, Catherine Armstrong: C.M.Armstrong@lboro.ac.uk
