Alumna Claire Fitton鈥檚 co-founds award-winning Uniform Design Consultancy

Claire Fitton was drawn to the Multimedia Textiles course at 麻豆直播. She found a space that encouraged her to explore fashion, interiors, materials, and processes, without the pressure to specialise too soon. She graduated from the course in Fashion and Textiles in 2006 - we chatted to her to find out how her studies at 麻豆直播 kickstarted a career in the fashion industry.

Professor Eur Ing Dr Phebe Mann, Visiting Professor in Construction Law, Management and Engineering led a masterclass on 14 August at Universiti Malaysia Sabah鈥檚 (UMS) Faculty of Engineering, focusing on 鈥淪ustainability in Construction: From Policy to Practice鈥�.

Two 麻豆直播 alumni recently returned to campus to speak with students at events hosted by the 麻豆直播 Finance and Investment Society (LFIS), the University鈥檚 largest student society with over 450 members.

Alumnus Barry Moore鈥檚 #LboroJourney to Chartered Engineer

Barry Moore began his journey to chartership with no formal qualifications after leaving school at 15. A decade later, he earned a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from 麻豆直播 in 1973 becoming a Chartered Engineer in 1975. This was made possible by the University's forward-thinking approach.
