Clearing is a way to apply for university courses that still have spaces available. It’s perfect if:

When is Clearing?

13 August 2026 - A level results day: many of our course vacancies fill quickly on A level results day so it’s a great idea to prepare early.

What happens on results day?

On A level results day (13 August 2026), you'll have the chance to secure your place at Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ University. Here's how it works:

  1. Explore our courses: Once results are released, check our course vacancies to see which opportunities are available.
  2. Contact us directly: Call our Clearing line to discuss your results and interest in a specific course.
  3. Be prepared to share: During the call, we’ll typically ask about:
    • Your A-level or equivalent exam results;
    • GCSE grades, especially in Maths and English;
    • Your motivation for choosing the course.

What happens after I get an offer?

Once you’ve decided which offer to accept, log in to your UCAS Hub to add your Clearing choice:

  • If you’re not holding any other university offer, you can add your Clearing choice right away.
  • If you’re holding another offer, you’ll need to decline it before adding your Clearing choice.

Important deadlines at Âé¶¹Ö±²¥

Clearing offer holders have three calendar days to confirm their place with us. The date the offer is made counts as day one, so you must add Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ University as your Clearing choice via your UCAS Hub by 23:59 (UK time) on day three.
