Research and expertise

My research focuses on performance measurement of Modern Method of Construction (MMC) within UK affordable housing with specific emphasis on Pre Manufacturing- 2D primary structural systems (MMC Category 2).

My research will examine how housing associations assess, interprete, and use performance metric in decision making and procurement. My research aims to support and contribute knowledge to UK housing sector.

Profile

I completed my Bachelor of Science in Building (Building Structures and Construction Management) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria in 2016, and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from the University of Derby, United Kingdom, awarded in 2023.

My professional experience spans across residential, commercial projects and Civil works. In the UK, I have worked as a quality specialist and project coordinator with companies such as Forterra (via Net Temps), Laing O’Rourke’s Explore Manufacturing and Unbrako Precast.

I am a certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (Quality Management System), with strong experience in quality assurance, compliance and project delivery within industrialised construction environments.
