They are looking for enthusiastic people with some singing experience to be part of the chorus – although you do not need choral experience.
Dead Cat Bounce is an oratorio about finance and catastrophe which premiered at Somerset House in 2022. are currently touring the production to Birmingham, Nottingham and Sheffield and is collaborating with them on the Nottingham performance. Musically, the show brings together choral music, sound art and synthpop and features three soloists (professionals) and a live band.
The music is simple and can be learned in a relatively quick timescale. You do not need to be able to read music, but scores are provided for those who will find them useful.
To get a feel for the music you can recorded at Somerset House in 2022.
Travel expenses from Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ to Nottingham for the dress rehearsal and the performance will be covered for any Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ University students and staff who take part.
