Professor Ed Brown (MECS Research Director and Director of STEER, Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ University) was active across events during the week including a high level strategy session on super pollutants held at the on 24 June () and a at FCDO on the same topic on 26 June where Ministers Miliband and McCarthy reaffirmed the UK’s commitments to addressing short-lived pollutants.
Ed also spoke at a panel hosted by the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) and Clean Air Fund (CAF) on on 25 June. The event formed part of a day of sessions co-organised by CCAC and CAF to drive action on super pollutants for London Climate Action Week. MECS is proud to collaborate with CCAC and emphasise the importance of advancing access to clean, electric cooking to drive progress in reducing air pollution and associated health and climate impacts.
