This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re celebrating community - the heart of Â鶹ֱ²¥ Sport. Here, it’s not just about performance; it’s about people. The friendships, support, and shared moments built through the Â鶹ֱ²¥ community shape who we are and stay with our community for life.

When we belong, we thrive, and that’s what makes Â鶹ֱ²¥ more than sport.

In Conversation With...

In this mini docuseries, members of the Â鶹ֱ²¥ community, athletes, staff, alumni, and students share honest reflections on how the people around them have shaped their journeys, supported their mental health, and shown that here, sport is just the start.

Connected by Community

We asked one question, and the answers showcase the strength, support, and connection that define our community here at Â鶹ֱ²¥.

From students to staff, athletes to alumni, these reflections show how the people around them shape the Â鶹ֱ²¥ family. This is what community means to us.

How does Â鶹ֱ²¥ help shape a more supportive and open community around mental health?

We support mental health by recognising every aspect of an individual’s life, not just their studies or sport. By fully understanding each person, we create a culture where mental health and worries can be openly discussed, free from judgment.
